How to Convert HEIC to JPG
If your iPhone photos will not upload or open somewhere, converting to JPG usually fixes it.
Quick steps
- Open the tool: HEIC to JPG
- Upload your HEIC photo
- Select Convert to JPG
- Download the JPG
- Upload or share the JPG anywhere
When you should convert
- A website form only accepts JPG
- A printer or kiosk cannot read HEIC
- A coworker has an older device that cannot open HEIC
- You want a standard format for a project folder or upload workflow
Tips for best results
- Use the original HEIC file instead of a screenshot
- If you plan to edit later, keep a copy of the HEIC as your original
- After conversion, check the JPG once to confirm brightness and color look right
Common questions
Why do some sites reject HEIC
Many upload systems only allow JPG or PNG. Converting to JPG gives you a file that works in more places.
Will converting reduce quality
JPG uses compression, but for typical photos the result stays sharp and looks great for sharing and printing.
How are my files handled
Files are stored only long enough to run the conversion and provide a download link, then removed after a short period. See the Privacy Policy for details.
